Prostitution

The definition of Prostitution is the act or practice of indulging in promiscuous sexual relations for money.  Examples are street prostitution, brothels that advertise “massage”, escort services, strip clubs, lap dancing, phone sex, mail order brides, pornography both on video and the internet.  Prostitution can also be defined as sexual violence against women and girls.  These examples provide men with unlimited sexual access to women and girls – if they can pay.  Prostitution is also the oldest profession around.  Most people who are raped know their rapists.  However, this is all against the law.

Victimless
Prostitution is sometimes known as a victimless or consensual crime.  This is because the parties involved go into it willingly.  This is not always true.
